| Karl Burger establishes a lumber trading company in Donauwörth.

| The company stays in family property for over hundred years. For lack of progeny transfers the former owner Peter Burger the management board to Andreas Löffler who becomes the owner a few years later.

1958
| Due to the success arises a bigger sortiment, a higher choice, new materials and processing technologies. New capacities are established through a new hall.

1964
| There is no more place available in Donauwörth and consequently BURGER Holzzentrum moves to Bäumenheim. Because of an rising trend to interior fittings the sortiment increases again highly.

1972
| And again it has to be moved - but temporarily for the last time. BURGER Holzzentrim establishs itsself definitely to a highly productive partner for the whole craft.

1978
| Bernhard Löffler assumes the control in the company. He increases the success consequently through his new ideas. The intensived engagement in the veneer department can be returned on him. In 1980 a storage hall is especially for this reason established.

1994
| The growth goes on! New storage areas and office buildings are founded!

2004
| The company becomes a member of the Holzring! A strategic orientation for the future!

2006
| Christian Löffler, son of Bernhard Löffler, becomes CEO. Burger Holzzentrum is now led by the family Löffler in the third generation.

2008
| BURGER Holzzentrum gets the certifications for FSC & PEFC. Furthermore, they achieve the award "RAL Gütegemeinschaft Holzhandel"!

2009
| The company increases its delivering area. A second location with 5 employees is established in Fürth-Bislohe.The new location possesses a small stock, an exhibition of 650qm and modern offices.
